Seiko - Prospex Solar Chronograph | SSC813

The Speedtimer Solar Chronograph Series is the latest in the Prospex Collection inspired by Seiko's first precision chronographs, developed for international sporting competitions in 1964.  Combining the convenience of solar power and rugged durability with sporty style, the SSC813 chronograph is sometimes called the "PANDA" for its black and white dial. The brushed and polished 39mm stainless steel case is equipped with a black tachymeter bezel and white satin dial with inconspicuous slanted date window @4.  Applied markers and Patina LumiBright sword style hands are easily legible behind a curved sapphire crystal. Polished chronograph pushers measure 60 minutes in 1/5- second increments with a small seconds, 24hour sub dial and power reserve indicator functions. Seiko's own in-house movement caliber V192 is powered by light, using ambient or direct sunlight with 6 month power reserve for low easy maintenance (no need for a battery). Fitted with a stainless brushed and polished 3-link bracelet with deployment butterfly safety clasp adjustable by 5 positions will keep your watch secure and in place.
