Inspired by dashboard instruments in classic and modern aircrafts, the Commander Series is a statement piece that displays the same essential details as early pilot watches but with modern design elements. The Commander Chronograph Automatic, part of the Aero Collection from DELMA, features extra bold accents within a 45mm stainless steel case and prominent day/date window. The black satin dial has guilloche patterned sub-seconds, 12-hour, and 30-minute sub-dial counters. Applied bold luminous Arabic numerals and markers are easily legible behind an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Black luminous dagger shaped hands with red accented central seconds are surrounded by a minutes track on outer dial disc. A generous sized corrugated stainless steel crown with 100 meter water resistance is positioned between polished chronograph pushers. Powered by automatic chronograph ETA Valjoux 7750 movement with DELMA's own custom rotor and 48 hour power reserve viewable within the exhibition case-back. Fitted with a black alligator grained calf-skin leather strap with red contrasting stitch and polished stainless steel butterfly deployant clasp to secure in place.
