The SSJ019 is just one of several commemorative timepieces celebrating SEIKO's 110th anniversary of its first shop called the Laurel in Ginza, Japan by founder Kintaro Hattori. Born with the world’s first commercially available quartz watch, the Astron name is, much like the Laurel, synonymous with innovation. Featuring GPS high-speed signal receptions, charging status, leap second data receipt, and in-flight mode all powered by the new caliber 3X62 movement. With cutting edge technology and energy saving innovation, the Astron Collection is powered by light with a 6 month and 2 year (in power save mode) power reserve.

Composed of super light-weight hard coated and durable titanium the 41.2mm cases new creation features an the updated angular, faceted bezel design that debuted this year. The simple white dial has a single red “60” at the 12 o’clock position punctuated and surrounded by numerals every five minutes on the outer dial disc. Luminous sword style hands and raised stick markers are easily legible behind a dual curved super-clear coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Equipped with date window nestled within the 3 and in-flight mode, DST, leap year and power reserve indicator sub-dial @9. The polished push-pull crown has a water resistance rating of 100 meters with polished and brushed pushers for sub-dial indicator modes. our watch is secured with a twin push button tri-fold safety clasp with Seiko embossed insignia on a polished and brushed integrated stainless steel 3-link bracelet. This piece is limited to just 800 produced with an additional brown leather strap with tri-fold push button release clasp.
